Erika Balsom has curated the section The Secret Mirror, or, the Disappearance of
A.A.A. Offresi
as part of the exhibition On the Origins of the 21st Century or the Fall of Communism as Seen in Gay Pornography at the Kunstverein in Hamburg. The section features work by Maria Grazia Belmonti, Anna Carini, Rony Daopoulo, Paola De Martiis, Annabella Miscuglio, and Loredana Rotondo, and the exhibition runs 13.09.25 – 11.01.26.

This exhibition relates to research of the same name by Erika, for which she has been awarded the Balsdon Fellowship from April-June 2026 by the British School in Rome.
