Lviv Diary: Preview Screening, Q&A with Chris Berry and Filmmaker Tammy Cheung

Lviv Diary: Preview Screening, Q&A with Chris Berry and Filmmaker Tammy Cheung
6 March, 2025

Hosted by the Department of Film Studies and the Un.censor.ing Cultural Heritage Network on 1st February 2025

Depicting life in the shadow of war in Lviv, a beautiful ancient city in western Ukraine, the film shows how all aspects of society and all citizens have been forever affected.

Tammy Cheung is a Hong Kong documentary filmmaker now based in the UK. She and her partner, Augustine Lam, have produced more than a dozen films, that include Secondary School, Rice Distribution and July.

Most of the films focus on social issues: education, elderly welfare and democracy. In the tradition of Direct Cinema, most of the films do not employ voice over or interviews.
